Volunteers

Thank you to al the people who have contacted us to volunteer at ANC. We have had a great response and are now no longer looking for volunteers.

We are still processing the jobs and times that we need volunteers, and will be in touch soon with people who have contacted us to discuss this more. In the meantime, we wanted to introduce you to just two of our many wonderful ANC volunteers, Sandra Remedio and Melanie Pritchard.

Sandra is currently a student on the interpreting course at RMIT and would be a familiar face to many of you, having volunteered at many ASLIA events and also the recent Australian Deaf Games.

Melanie is a Deaf graphic designer and signwriter. She is volunteering with ANC as a way of welcoming you all to her home town, Melbourne.

Sandra and Melanie will work with volunteer co-ordinator Melinda Walters throughout the entire ANC and assist with many of the day to day tasks involved in keeping the show running smoothly. So, thanks!

If finances permit, the committee may be in a position to grant a reduced conference registration cost for volunteers. This information will be communicated to volunteers if funds do become available for this purpose.
